ENJOY THE LIFE YOU CHOOSE
There comes a time in all of our lives when we get to choose the life we have or the life we want. Often they are not quite the same. Let’s focus on closing the gap between where we are and where we want to be. The life you want, no matter what it is, is possible. In order to live it, we must become it every day. The difference between the life we want and the one we have is who we are and who we can become.
To find out what can be done to obtain the life of your choosing consider the following questions. What do you do habitually every day to live the life you currently have? Do these habits contribute to the life you want? Have you created time for growth? Are you so busy with what you always do that what you want to do sits on the back burner?
If you are committed to making difference in your life, even subtle you must be intentional about breaking the rhythm and consistency of the old. This can be difficult but definitely achievable. Here are a few things that we must do to have the life of our choosing.
You MUST choose. Everything starts with a decision and ends with the demonstration of your choice. You MUST know what you are choosing. Choosing is irresponsible when you don’t know what you want. It’s equivalent to being a ship without a sail aimlessly drifting where-ever the current takes you in what seems like an eternal sea. Often times we are not living the life we want because we don’t know what that is. You MUST create a clear vision. A clear vision is a pre-requisite for making a good decision. Once you have created a vision and made a decision, you MUST know that it’s possible. The life you want is possible. No matter how big or small the adjustments we have to make to create it, it can be done. Someone somewhere is living the life of your dreams. It’s possible. The hardest part for some is you MUST believe that you are worthy. You are worthy!
